About Me

I’m a born and bred Oxfordian who, after a short time in Norfolk, found my true home in the stunning landscapes of South Wales in 2003.

Today I live in the beautiful Rhondda Valley with my white Siberian Husky, Kita, my loyal companion and a constant source of strength through life’s toughest moments.

When I’m not mentoring or helping others rebuild their lives, you’ll often find me reading, with classical music playing in the background. Otherwise, I'll be driving around the Welsh hills, in my treasured GT86, listening to drum and bass music!

My love for animals, especially dogs, runs deep. In June 2024, I walked 177 miles solo along the Offa’s Dyke, the border between England and Wales raising funds for SHARE Rescue, a Husky charity close to my heart. Through my ongoing B1G1 contributions, I’ve also created over 100,000 positive impacts for dogs in Nepal. You can read more about my donations on my Giving Back page here.

My Journey: From Valley to Climb

Life has tested me in ways I never expected. I’ve faced more than my share of challenges, serious illness, accidents, heartbreak, loss and setbacks that could have stopped me in my tracks. Instead, each challenge and valley built my resilience, sharpened my mindset, and gave me the unwavering determination and grit to not just survive, but to climb higher than before.

I dealt with thrombosis in my late teens, a dislocated knee at 20 that ended my ballet career, and years of managing gastritis. I’ve endured severe and hemiplegic migraines, multiple gynaecological operations leading to a radical hysterectomy, and later breast cancer requiring a mastectomy and reconstruction. Along the way there were bouts of diverticulitis, recurring UTIs, pneumonia and a systemic autoimmune disease. Add to that a car accident and periods of deep mental health struggles, and you might wonder how I’m still standing and climbing.

My challenges didn’t begin with ill health though. I learned early on that if no one else had my back, I had to have my own. That isolation, and years of ballet discipline, forged a fierce independence, that still fuels me today.

Here’s the truth: none of those experiences broke me. They made me into a climber! They shaped the mindset I live and teach today, so stop sitting there in the bottom of your valley and start climbing with me.

Major Illnesses in Brief

💜 30s: A radical hysterectomy due to adenomyosis.

💜 Post-surgery: Panic attacks and agoraphobia, so I didn’t leave the house for three years.

💜 40s: Diagnosed with scleroderma, a systemic autoimmune disease. Doctors said I had a very poor prognosis without aggressive treatments, but I reversed my symptoms in three months through big lifestyle and dietary changes.

💜 50s: Diagnosed with breast cancer, leading to a mastectomy and reconstruction. I was told it would be a 6 week recovery, but I was back to doing my yoga, driving, walking Kita and 90% back to normal after just 11 days!

These weren’t just health battles, they were defining valleys. Through relentless research, mindset shifts, rebuilding my identity better than it was before and radical lifestyle and dietary changes, I took control of my health, my body, my mind and my future.

My mission is clear: to help others dealing with major changes in their lives, to become climbers and build a new identity to move forwards.

Learning from the Best, Leading with Experience

My journey has been deeply shaped by the wisdom and insights of some of the world’s most influential leaders in personal development, business, and transformation. Visionaries like Dean Graziosi, Peter Sage, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Trent Shelton, Mel Robbins, Tanya MFK and many others have influenced my approach, helping me refine powerful strategies for resilience, success, and personal growth.

But knowledge alone isn’t enough, experience is the true teacher. My own hard-earned lessons from overcoming life’s toughest battles allow me to combine strategy with lived experience, ensuring that the guidance I provide is real, practical, and results-driven.
